Greetings Everyone,

I hope you all have had the chance to enjoy this fall season so far.  Our season has been going well with many classes and private lessons starting, and our Saturday Program and Performing Arts Youth Collective getting into full swing which is being held this year at the Bushnell.

We have many new instructors who are thrilled to be part of our program, and of course our wonderful returning instructors have come back for more fun.

A major theme we have had our students work on within the classes and programs is Teamwork.  It’s especially helpful with introducing the students to each other and helps make a more creative atmosphere.  From all the positive feedback we’ve been getting from parents, it appears that the students are learning a lot and having fun.

We were especially excited during our start-up week for the Youth Collective.  We were given a rare opportunity to take a tour and go behind the scenes of the National Touring production of “Sweeney Todd”.  Some even got the chance to talk with the tour’s Technical Director and see the actors in rehearsal and given notes from the Stage Manager.  Some behind the scenes technicians and employees of the Bushnell commented on how happy they were to see the passion that our students have for theatre already.
