How many new members will you be accepting into the P.A.Y.C.? What are you looking for?
The number really varies as we have returning members but the P.A.Y.C. will be accepting youth between the ages of 6-11yrs old for the Jr. Collective, and youth between the ages of 12-18 for the Sr. Collective. We are looking for youth that are hardworking, positive, open to suggestions, team players and of course very talented. If you aren't selected for the P.A.Y.C. this year, please come back and audition again next year. We encourage everyone to study and sharpen their skills. If you are looking to grow as a performer we encourage you to take Acting, Musical Theater or Dance classes. You can call Performing Arts Programs at (860) 432-9890 to find out if there are any classes being offered in your community or surrounding towns.

What about the classes/ master classes?
It is very important/ essential that each person attends all the monthly meetings. If Members don't show up it could/ will jeopardize their involvement with the Collective. Once or twice during the year, we will be bringing in Broadway and/ or NYC Performers to work with members and help develop skills. The classes and master classes are for P.A.Y.C. Members only( No family or friends).

Does everyone get in? When will I know if I was accepted?
We hope to accept most everyone, but we do have limited slots and returning students from last year as well. Please don't let this stop you from attending our auditions. Everyone will be contacted either by letter and/ or phone within a week.
